Pictorial Review 7454

$350.00

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1917. Can't you just see this being a dress worn by one of the lovely ladies on the set of the early seasons of Downton Abbey or Mr. Selfridge? Please pardon the pattern illustrations as I photographed my original copy and it is not in the best condition. (Though the actual pattern inside is in great condition being over 100 years old!) It is for a V neck dress with a wide shawl collar. The lower bodice wraps around the waist on the left and ties in the back forming a belt. You may choose to order this unlined or lined in the bodice with the high neck 'chemisette'...basicly a sewn in underblouse with the high neck boned Edwardian style choker collar dickie that peeps out the front. The sleeves are long with cuffs. The skirt is the highlight of this early design with neat side drapes that are actually pockets!! This dress closes at the front bodice and side seam with a snap/hook placket. It is unlined except if you order it with the chemisette, then it will be lined in the bodice.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This dress pattern was released in November so it's meant to be a winter dress. It would be great in satin, velvet, velveteen, thicker linen, twill, corduroy, suiting or lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!

Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost. Unsure about fabric and the total costs? Message me and we can discuss.

I will message you after the order is made and give you a list of measurements I will need to make your dream dress.

This dress is made to order so please allow 14+ weeks for delivery.
