1920s Romanian Style Smocked Drop Waist Dress with Optional Embroidery Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1927

Art deco divine!

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates from 1927 to 1928. It features Romanian style smocked embroidery on the shoulders and front low dropped waist. This you guys...is done by hand. I am not a machine! This beauty features a standard collar (or not...your choice) The torso is super low waist which is on period. Your choice of sleeveless, short sleeves or long with a smocked cuff. The skirt is gathered in the front but straight in the back. Embroidery is OPTIONAL. Y'all this takes a MASSIVE amounts of time to do by hand. If you want me to hand embroidery a design on the center front of this dress, message me. We can talk. If you want just a embroidered ribbon added to this, message me. Standard prices do not include embroidery.

Please note that since this pattern is from the late 1920s and it will not fit like a modern garment. There are no waist darts therefor it is fitted at the bust and hips but without the cinching of a belt the waist is left baggy.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in a cool summery cottons...cotton lawn, cotton voile or silk georgette would be ideal.  I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
