1920s Style Abstract Color Block Drop Waist Dress with Side Flair Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1928

Art deco divine!

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to circa 1928. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist torso with a scoop neckline. This one is a typical 1920s dress with a long straight loose fitting torso, but with neat color blocking with abstract placed appliques giving a very art deco finish. So unique! (I can totally picture this made in a black crepe fabric with orange contrast! Or how about hunter green with metallic gold? Navy with baby pink? Solid matte fabric with shiny contrast?) The skirt part is straight in the back but has a side draped flounce in the front. Comes with a cummerbund type belt that is to be worn towards the side. Like many 1920's dresses this pattern calls for no closures. It is made baggy enough in the torso that you can simply slip it on over your head.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in gabardine, rayon crepe, rayon challis, crepe back satin, velvet or lightweight wool suiting fabric. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk or wool would be an additional cost)
