1920s Style Art Deco Asymmetrical Zig Zag Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1928

Art deco divine!

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates between 1925 and 1929. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist torso with kimono sleeves and a V neck. The center front of the dress features a neat zig zag design accented by a button at each point. This design is perfect for two tone color blocking! The skirt has lower left side pleats on the front. Your choice of a neck tie finish or a pointed arrow shaped neckband. Sleeves can be made short with piped edges or long with cuffs. This dress is unlined and will come with a belt.

This pattern is called a 'slip over frock' which means it is meant to have no openings and is to be put on over your head (and wiggled into!) Most dresses of this era were baggy enough to be able to do this. Of coarse I can make this for you with the ease of a modern zipper if you prefer. Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. Most styles from this time are totally baggy at the waist, typical of the 1920s.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in quilt weight cottons, lawn, voile, challis, light weigh wool, gabardine or linen. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost.
