1920s Style Asymmetrical Drop Waist Dress with Left Side Skirt Flair Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1930

Art deco divine!

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to between 1929 and 1930. This is a really different design with a lot going on! It features a typical 1920s dropped waist with a V neck with optional collar. There is a sewn in V shaped neckband with a tie shaped jabot. The bodice has double french darts. The skirt is asymmetrical with a pocket that juts up on the upper left side. It flairs on the left side in the front and right side in the back. Your choice of sleeveless or long fitted sleeves with cuffs. The belt is sewn into place...it's just for looks...I think? The instructions on these old patterns can be super vague and lacking! I can sew it to the dress or add hidden snaps so it can be removed, your choice. This one would be great done in contrasting colors! The late 20's had some super unique style lines! There are NO darts for waist definition on this dress and NO closures. It is meant to be baggy enough to slip over your head. This dress in unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in rayon twill, linen, gabardine, crepe back satin, satin, lightweight suitungs. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost.
