1920s Style Basic Day Dress with Shawl Collar and Gathered Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1927

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1927. It is for a typical 1920's style slip over dress being loose fitting in the torso with a V neck and your choice of short scalloped collar or cape collar. It has kimono sleeves that can be left short or I can add a long fuller gathered cuff sleeve. The bodice is lower in the front. The skirt is gathered and full and has cute little pockets in the front. This dress has no closures and is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement. The early 1920's designs were typical meant to be loose fitting all through the torso with a belt to cinch in at the low waist.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in thin cottons such as lawn or voile, georgette, rayon crepe, rayon challis, pique, satin crepe, gaberdine or even lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
