1920s Style Deep V Neck Drop Waist Long Sleeve Dress with Pleated Front Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1928

Art deco divine! This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to around 1928. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist torso with a deep plunging V shaped neckline with M shaped midriff. The front bodice is made to be left open and has a built in 'vestee' or mock blouse sewn in that would be great to do in a contrasting color. Your choice of fitted long sleeves with pointed detail below the elbow or plain long sleeve with short buttoned cuff. The skirt front features double inset pleats at the princess seams topped with a triangle shaped pocket. The back skirt features a pointed lower waist shape. Great for color blocking! This dress is unlined and it comes with a belt. Like many 1920's dresses this pattern calls for no closures. It is made baggy enough in the torso that you can simply slip it on over your head.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in gabardine, rayon crepe, rayon challis, satin crepe or lightweight suiting. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
