1920s Style Downton Abbey High Neck Tunic Dress with Ruffle Hem Custom Made in Your SIze from a Vintage Pattern 1925

Art deco divine!

This reminds me so much of one worn by the ladies of Downton Abbey in the later episodes! This tunic dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1925. It features a typical mid 1920's tunic style dress that is tubular in shape that is fitted at the bust and hips but with no waist definition. It has a high collar that can worn buttoned up or unbuttoned to a deep V neck. It has a built in mock 'slip' that can be exposed if worn unbuttoned. (This would be lovely made in a contrasting fabric!) your choice of plain short or long sleeves. Welt pockets optional. You can choose from view A with a 4 layer hem (imagine this done in stripes or ombre colors!) or as view B with a plain lower skirt part. This dress is unlined except fot the mock slip. Your choice of no belt or sewn in half belt ties.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in cotton, linen, gabardine, rayon crepe, satin crepe, lightweight wool or velvet. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
