1920s Style Downton Abbey Kimono Tunic Dress with V Neck or Peter Pan Collar and Cape Custom Made in Your SIze from a Vintage Pattern 1923

Art deco divine!

   This reminds me so much of one worn by the ladies of Downton Abbey! This tunic dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates between 1923-1924. It features a typical 1920's tunic style dress that is baggy in shape with no waist definition with a deep neckline that come all the way to the waist. Your choice of short or long sleeves. The skirt has two welt pockets. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt meant to hit at hip level. Choose from:

• View 1 - has a plain convertable collar which buttons at a lower neck level. This view also has the option of wearing the front totally unbuttoned, as the pattern calls for a built in mock slip sewn in for modisty as well as the optional cape, which I am totally smitten with! The cape is fully lined.

• View 2 - has a rounded peter pan collar and several little loop buttons all the way down. (I count 15-20 buttons in the illustration!)

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in cotton, linen, gabardine, rayon crepe, satin crepe, lightweight wool or velvet. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
