1920s Style Wrap Around Maids or Cooks Uniform or Day Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1928

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1928. The pattern states it is a 'dress apron and cap'. Based on the ladies in the pattern illustration I believe this was meant to be a maid or cooks uniform. This is such a classic design though, it would also work great as a basic day dress done in a pretty floral print as shown in view 'A'. It is a wrap around design and features a typical

1920's drop waist silhouette being baggy at the waist and fitted at the hips with a belt. It has a pointed shawl collar and patch pockets below the belt. The sleeves are long and the cuffs are removable, buttoning on or off. This dress is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. It has no darts for waist definiation. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in crisp cottons, seersucker, cotton sateen or lightweight linen or wool blends. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
