1930s Style Asymmetrical Collar Dress with Capelet Sleeves Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1932

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1932. Just a tip toe into the 1930's, it features a drop waist but with darts in the back for a more fitted shape. It features your a neat asymmettical V neck collar that can be worn open like view B or buttoned closed like view A. Your choice of plain long sleeves with cuff detail, short flutter capelet sleeves or capelet sleeves with long added long fitted sleeve and plain cuff. The skirt is a typical 1930's trumpet shape with shaped side panels and princess seam kick pleats. I can make this as the original pattern calls for with snap closures at the left side seam OR I can make it with the ease of a zipper. This dress is unlined. It comes with a belt.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1934 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in lightweight wool, suiting fabrics, rayon crepe, rayon satin crepe, velveteen, linen or cotton. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
