1930s Style Asymmetrical Jabot Dress with Drop Waist & Gothic Pointed Seams Details Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1931

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1931. It features a drop waist bodice with asymmetrical V neckline with a fluttery jabot. The bodice seams are super cool, very gothic and spiderweb pointed! The skirt is very full and circular. The sleeves are fitted and long with circular ruffle cuff. The original pattern calls for a snap closure along the side seam but I can use a zipper instead if you prefer. This dress is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests fabrics such as lame' metallics, crepe back satin, satin, velvet, georgette or lightweight suiting. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
