Art deco divine! I admit I've been watching a lot early 1930's movies on TCM lately. Which of coarse makes me want a WHOLE wardrobe full of to-die-for, over the top, luxurious art deco frocks.
This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1934. It is luxurious bias cut gown (made of over 8 yards of fabric!) typical of the 1930s made in your choice of tea or floor length, with or without train. This can be made as a formal dress or a wedding dress. The bodice has a pointed neck yolk that would be lovely in mesh or lace. The back bodice comes to a deep V to the small of the back creating a curve hugging silhouette. The sleeves are either long or short, both with a poofed cap. I can make this for you with the ease of a modern zipper or I can make it with side seam snap closures the original pattern calls for. This dress is unlined. Veil is not included. If you want to order this dress lined message me for a price quote.
This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want.
This dress would be ideal in a slinky charmeuse satin, crepe satin or even velvet. (Listed price is for poly satin. 100% silk would be at a considerable additional cost.) I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
