1930s Style Bow Tie Neck Fitted Pointed Waist Art Deco Slim Skirt Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1938

This sweet little dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1938. It has a slightly gathered front bodice with a keyhole neckline and bow tie collar. The main attraction of this design is the wonderful pointed art deco waistband. (Which would be killer in a contrasting color or textured fabric!) The skirt is a slim style with double front pleats. Your choice of short or long sleeves. I can make this with the zipper at the side as called for in the pattern or move it to the center back for ease. This dress is unlined.

The jacket is optional. It features a wide notched collar and little shaped patch pockets. It is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern illustrations really do not do this cutie justice. Can't you imagine it in black rayon crepe with a satin waist panel and collar? This would work great in rayon crepe, satin crepe, velvet, cottons such as pique, seersucker, poplin or wool suiting.
