1930s Style Bow Tie Neck Puff Sleeve Dress with Fitted Midriff Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1938

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dates to around early 1938. This design was all the rage at that time because it is heavily influenced by the wedding dress worn by Wallis Simpson to Edward VIII of England in June 1937. It's not a exact copy, but it's pretty similar! It features a high neck bow tie collar with gathers below the neck and at the upper waist. It has a fitted shaped midriff that buttons with several small loops. (While these buttons are not functional alllllll those button loops and buttons still need to be sewn down.) Your choice of fitted long sleeves or short puffed sleeves. The skirt is a flared a-line. Zips on the side. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in a cool summery cottons, dotted swiss, rayon crepe, rayon challis, rayon jersey, silk crepe, wool crepe, linen, seersucker, suiting or any lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% Silk or 100% wool would be at an additional cost)
