1930s Style Cowl Neck Balloon Mutton Sleeve Bias Cut Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1933

Wow, this one is certainly different! This dress will be custom made for you in your size based on a vintage pattern illustration that dates to around 1933. I hand drafted this pattern using various original patterns from the same time period as my guide. It features a bias cut front bodice with a cowl neck. Cowls were very popular in the early 1930's. However the the crazy sleeves are the star of the show! They are fitted at the cap with rows of pin tucks that flair out above the elbow and then fitted in the forearm creating a massive elbow poof. The sleeve cuffs button at the wrist. The skirt is a typical 1930's slim style and can be cut in grain or on the bias.I can make this with a zipper down the side seam or with snaps as it would have been made originally. I can make this with or without decorative buttons as shown in the sample dress pictures.This dress is unlined. It comes with a belt.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in rayon crepe, wool crepe, or satin crepe, gabardine or velvet. (This would be amazing in a silk/rayon velvet!) I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
