1930s Style Dress with Keyhole Neck and Scalloped Fishtail Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1931

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1931. It features an open keyhole neckline and your choice of plain long sleeves or short fluttery sleeves. The skirt is a fishtail type being more fitted to just past the knees where it flares out with a scalloped shaped seam. Closes on the sides, comes with a belt. The original pattern calls for a snap closure along the side seam but I can use a zipper instead if you prefer.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 2" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. This would work great in summer weight fabrics such as lawn, quilt weight cottons or georgette. It would also work in thicker fabrics such as rayon crepe, wool crepe or satin crepe. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
