1930s Style Drop Waist Dress with Puffed Sleeves and Asymmetrical Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1930

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates between 1930-1931. It features a dropped waist dress with your choice of no collar V neck or a peter pan collar. You can choose short puffed sleeves or fluttery cape sleeves. The neck tie and skirt bow slip through two slits to close. The skirt is circular and asymmetrical. This dress has no darts or waist definition and is meant to be worn loose fitting. There are no closures, it simply slips over your head. This dress is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" - 4" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1934 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. This would work great in summer weight fabrics such as lawn, quilt weight cottons, dotted swiss, challis, charmeuse or georgette. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
