1930s Style Drop Waist Ruffle Collar Day Dress with Pleated Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1931

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1931. It features a drop waist bodice with ruffled collar that extends down the front right side and is stitched into place. The sleeves are short with two rows of ruffles. The skirt has pleats in the princess seams in the front and the back.The original pattern calls for a snap closure along the side seam but I can use a zipper instead if you prefer. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests fabrics such as cotton, linen, crepe, shantung, rayons or lightweight suiting. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
