1930s Style Gathered Bust and Shoulder Dress with Pointed Midriff and Optional Jacket Custom Made in Your Size 1939

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that dates between 1939 to 1940.. It features a dress with a raised V neck and gathered shoulders that buttons open/closed at the shoulder. There are gathers under the bust and a fitted pointed midriff. This pattern came with only a short sleeve option but I can make them 3/4 or long if you prefer. The skirt is a six gore flare swing style. It zips on the side and is unlined.

The jacket is optional. It features a button up fitted torso with a double collar and pointed shaped front and back yokes. It is fully lined. The sleeves are puffed.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. Suggested fabrics would be - cottons, rayon crepe, rayon twill, linen, challis, satin crepe, velvet, pique, gabardine or suiting. The jacket would be good in twill, gabardine, corduroy or suiting.

Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost. Unsure about fabric and the total costs? Message me and we can discuss.
