1930s Style Gathered Front Dress with Lace Collar Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1930

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1930. It features a deep V neckline and calls for a lace collar. There is a sewn in 'vestee' for modisty. The princess seam area of the front bodice is gathered with gorgeous W shaped seam lines. The sleeves are long and fitted. (This dress would be so good in velvet!) The skirt flared at the princess seams. The original pattern calls for a snap closure along the side seam but I can use a zipper instead if you prefer. This dress is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests fabrics such as satin, velvet, crepe back satin or suiting. The collar is suggested to use lace be it cut from lace fabric or using a pre made lace collar. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
