1930s Style Ice Skating Dress with Pleated Skirt and Hooded Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

  This dress and optional jacket will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that dates between 1939-1940. The dress features a button up front a plain collar and with shoulder yokes. It has a single tuck below the shouder and at the waist side. The back bodice has shoulder yokes and a center back pleat. Your choice of puffed short or long bishop sleeves. The skirt is fully knife pleated, the pleats are stitched down to the hips. The illustraion shows this being worn as an ice skating dress with a shorter skirt. (So cute!!) Zips on the side. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

The jacket is optional. It features a zip front with a crazy good pointed HOOD! It is fitted at the waist and has plain long sleeves. The jacket is priced to be made out of a thicker coating and fully lined in flannel back satin.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests for summer -cotton, rayon crepe, linen, shantung. For winter- rayon crepe, gabardine, flannel, lightweight wool. For the jacket- coating, corduroy, velveteen, fleece. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
