1930s Style Keyhole Neck Peplum Caplet Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1931

 This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1931. Just a tip toe into the 1930's, it features a drop waist but a bit more fitted bodice with an optional peplum belt that hits at the true waist. It features contrast keyhole neckline with a peter pan style collar and your choice of of no cape, a short cape or ruffle cape. The skirt is a typical 1930's trumpet shape with shaped side panels. I can make this as the original pattern calls for with snap closures at the left side seam OR I can make it with the ease of a zipper. This dress is unlined. It comes with a belt.

 Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in a cool summery cottons, lawn, sheer georgette, rayon crepe, rayon challis, wool crepe, or satin crepe or charmeuse satin. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
