1930s Style Mega Shirred Yoke Bodice with Bishop Sleeves and Slim Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1936

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to1936. It features tons and tons of shirring! It is a button up raglan sleeve bodice with a bow tie collar. There are around 12 rows of shirring all along the upper bodice from the front yoke to the raglan sleeves. Your choice of very full long bishop sleeves or short flutter sleeves. The skirt has front midriff detail. It is a typical mid 30's slim style. Comes with a belt. I can make this with snap closure on the side seam as the original pattern calls for or I can use a modern zipper for ease. This dress is unlined.

I made this for myself and wanted it made to look like a dress worn by Miss Lemon from the TV show Peroit with a slightly lower neckline and the buttons in the back. I am happy to make you either version...original pattern or modified.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in fabrics such as georgette, lawn, voile, rayon crepe, crepe de chine, crepe back satin, velvet or lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
