1930s Style Nipped Waist Twelve Gore Flare Skirt Swing Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1938

  This sweet little dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1938. It features a flattering high waist bodice with soft gathers and your choice of V neck with large collar or a collarless square neck. The sleeves are short and super poofy. The waist is fitted and nipped with a neat almost bell shaped full and flouncy 12 gore skirt. (Yep - twelve! That is a lot of skirt gores.) Comes with your choice of a sash belt or plain buckle belt. Zips on the side. This dress is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests quilt weight cottons, pique, dotted swiss, lawn, rayon crepe, taffeta or lace. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you. (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
