1930s Style Raised Cowl Neck Dress with Cape Collar and Military Crop Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1936

  This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1936. You may order the dress and the jacket separately. It features a raised cowl neckline with a fluttery cape collar/sleeves. The cape buttons at the back neck. View 1 shows the dress in a two tone. The skirt is a typical 1930's slim style. Your choice of a wrap around 'girdle' style belt as shown in view 1 or a plain belt. The girdle belt is stitched to the dress at the front and loose at the sides and back so it can wrap. The jacket is optional. It is a boxy and cropped with a nehru collar and bell sleeves. The pattern calls for braid trim to be sew onto front and sleeves in a mililtary style. The jacket is fully lined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests cottons, rayon crepe, satin crepe, crepe de chine, lame, taffeta, gabardine, suiting, velvet. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
