1930s Style Scoop Neck Dance Frock with Capelet and Ruffled Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1930

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated between 1929 -1930. It features a scoop neckline with an optional capelet collar. The bodice has a dropped waist. This one still very 1920's in style being that there are no darts or waist definition. The skirt can be with two or three tiered rows of ruffles. Your choice of short short flutter sleeves or short balloon sleeves. This is a 'slip over' frock, meaning there is no side closuer and is meant to be slipped over head to get into. This dress is unlined and comes with a sash belt.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests fabrics such as cotton lawn, organza, dotted swiss, shantung, rayons, georgette, charmeuse, challis or chiffon. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
