1930s Style Surplice Mock Jacket Dress with Fitted Midriff and Kick Pleats Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1933

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to circa 1933-1934. The bodice has the look of a blouse under a jacket, but it is all built into one. You have the choice of a surplice 'under shirt' that can be made plain, with buttons or a cute ruffle. The 'jacket' can be made with or without a collar. All three views shown with long sleeves, look close and you can see two of the views show a neat sleeve cuff with buttons with or without ruffle detail. (I can also make this short sleeve if you prefer.) The midriff has a fitted waist section that is pointed at center front. The skirt is a typical 1930's slim style with kick pleats at the princess seams. This dress is unlined. I can make this with a snap side seam closure as the original pattern calls for or I can use a zipper, your choice.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in fall/winter fabrics such as twill, gabardine, wool, suiting or flannel backed satin. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk or wool would be an additional cost.)
