1930s Style Sweet Bow Tie Collar Dress High Waist V Front Skirt Custom Made in Your Size from Vintage Pattern 1938

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern dated 1938. It features deep pleats at the shoulders and a keyhole neck. Your choice of a mandarin style collar that is gathered at the front edges with bow or plain with no collar. Your choice of short poofed sleeves with bows or long plain fitted sleeves with pointed cuffs. The skirt is the highlight of this dress being cut into a 'V' shaped high up on the waist and meeting that V shaped on the bodice. The skirt also has an unusual cut being bias cut and flared in the front yet slim cut/ straight in the back. The result is a typical 1930s silhouette. Zips on the side. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

Since this will be custom made for you I can make it out of any fabric and color combo you want. This would be great in rayon crepe, satin crepe, cottons. lightweight wool, gabardine, challis or seersucker. The sample shown is made out of a thinner multi color striped cotton on the bodice (which reminds me of fruit stripes gum!) and a medium weight black poly/wool blend crepe on the skirt. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk or wool would be an additional cost.)
