1930s Style V Neck Day Dress With Assymetrical Flair Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1931

 This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1931. Just a tip toe into the 1930's, it features a deep V neck bodice with your choice of a cowl scarf collar or plain collar. Your choice of short flutter sleeves or long plain sleeves. The skirt has neat asymmetrical lines with a slightly flared bell shaped skirt. This dress is unlined. It comes with a plain matching belt. I can make this with a side seam snap placket as called for in the original pattern or I can make it with the ease of a modern zipper if you prefer.

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect when worn the belt. The pattern is made to fit a good 1"-2" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in sheers such as chiffon, lawn or georgette, rayon challis, crisp cottons for summer or even in warmer fabrics such as sateen, corduroy, crepe, gabardine or lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% silk would be an additional cost.)
