1940s Style Asymmetrical Mock Wrap Surplice Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1946

This dress will be custom made for you in your size and choice of color using a vintage pattern dated 1946. This classic mid 1940's design features a surplice V neckline with short kimono sleeves. Deep side tuck darts accent the bodice and skirt. This has the look of a wrap dress but it is a mock wrap. (The skirt side drape is sewn to the side of the dress.) I can make this with a side seam zipper as the original pattern calls for or move it to the back for ease. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great in summery fabrics like cotton, rayon challis (novelty prints would be great for this!), seersucker or warmer fabrics for winter like cotton back satin, satin or gaberdine. (Can you picture this in a solid black satin for a femme fatale effect?) This dress is so versatile that it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you. (100% silk or 100% wool would be at an additional cost.)
