1940s Style Classic Form Fitting Dress with S Shaped Gathers Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1944

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size and choice of color using a vintage pattern that is dated 1944. This war time design features an oh-so 1940s style gathering on the front creating a flattering 'S' shape. The bodice is quite plain other than the side gathers and can be made with either short kimono sleeves or 3/4 set in sleeves. The skirt is a straight cut skirt with gathering along the right side creating a flattering silhouette. The original pattern calls for this to button down the back but I am happy to make it with the ease of a modern zipper if you prefer. This dress is unlined. It will come with a matching belt.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great in cotton, rayon crepe, rayon twill, challis, crepe de chin, wool crepe or georgette. This dress is so versatile that it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
