1940s Style Dress with Asymmetrical Bodice and Skirt Gathers Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1947

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size and choice of color using a vintage pattern that is dated 1947. This classic mid 1940's design features a flattering surplice bodice with gathers on front right side and gathers on the left side of the skirt creating an asymmetrical shape. This can be made with either cute short tulip sleeves or long sleeves. The skirt is a plain skirt with gathering along the left side creating a flattering silhouette. View 1 shows an optional mock belt tied at the side. The original pattern calls for this to zip at the side seam but I am happy to move it to the center back for ease if you prefer. This dress is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great in cottons, hanky linen, rayon crepe, rayon twill, rayon challis, crepe de chin, taffeta, shantung, crepe back satin, lightweight wool or gabardine. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% Silk or 100% wool would be at an additional cost)
