1940s Style Evening Cape Cloak Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1941

You will feel like an art deco princess in this original 1940s evening cape. It will be custom made for you using a pattern dated 1941. It features soft gathers in the front below the shoulders and functional arm hole slits. Your choice of with or without collar. Buttons at the neck. This can be made in 3 various lengths - elbow, knee or floor. This cape is fully lined and takes quite a bit of fabric to make. The long length requires nearly 10 yards! The price depends on the length you choose for your cape.

Since this is made to order I can make it out of any fabric you desire. The pattern suggests velvet, velveteen, woolens or satin. Wouldn't this be divine in luscious silk / rayon velvet? It will be lined in flannel back satin for warmth. There may be an additional cost for 100% wool or silk, silk blends depending on the cost of the fabric chosen.
