1940s Style Gathered Bust Dress with Nipped Waist and Full Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1940. It features a flattering gathered bust with your choice of high draped neckline or a V neck. Your choice of short or 3/4 poofed sleeves. The skirt is full and gathered in the front and A line in the back. 'X' bow decorations are optional. View 1 (high neck) zips down the back. View 2 (V neck) zips on the side. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests quilt weight cottons, challis, pique, thin woolens, velvet or gaberdine. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
