1940s Style Gathered Front Zip Front Puffed Sleeve Hostess or Day Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates between 1940-1941. This one is the epitome of late 30's/early 40's fashion! It is a glamorous house cost or day dress. It features a V neckline with shirred shoulders and super puffed sleeves. It has a M shaped midriff and a flared a line skirt. Your choice of long length with a super long zipper front or shorter length with a short front zipper, and also a side seam zipper. You can see on the same dress I made I added little patch pockets which I'm happy to add for you if you wish. This dress is unlined and comes with a belt. 

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This is SO versatile depending on your vision of this I could almost use any fabric you want. (This would be great color blocked!) It would be great in casual cottons, challis, lawn, rayon crepe, seersucker, linen, satin, lightweight wool suiting or even velvet. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% Silk , 100% wool would be at an additional cost) If you are interested in the long version you are in luck because I happen to have about a dozen true vintage extra long metal zippers in stock.

Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost. Unsure about fabric and the total costs? Message me and we can discuss.
