1940s Style Pleated Day Dress with Swing Skirt and Optional Short Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

 This 2pc dress with optional jacket will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1940. You may choose to order just the dress, just the jacket or the 2pc set. The dress features a front yoke with a jewel neckline. It has triple row pleats on each side. The back bodice has a center back vent pleat. The skirt is also pleated mirroring the pleats on the bodice with triple row side pleats in the front and a deep double center back pleat. There are patch pockets on the skirt front. Your choice of short puffed or long bishop style sleeves. The dress zips on the side and is unlined. It comes with a belt.

The jacket is a short 'Battle' style fited at the waist with a waistband. It buttons up the front, has a plain collar and bishop sleeves. It has gathers below the upper yokes. The jacket will be made out of coating fabric and fully lined in flannel back satin.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The dress would be great in a cool summery cotton, dotted swiss, semi sheer georgette, rayon crepe, rayon challis, wool crepe, gaberdine or satin crepe. The jacket would be great made out of coating, wool, twill, corduroy or gabardine. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% Silk or 100% wool would be at an additional cost)
