1940s Style V Neck Gathered Bust Dress with Optional Apron Custom Made In Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

This dress and apron set will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that dates to circa 1940. You may choose to order the dress and apron separately. The dress features a V neck and gathered shoulders and underbust. The pattern calls for a ruffled trim at the neckline. The sleeves are short and puffed. The lower bodice has an upside down 'U shaped yoke. The skirt is a semi full six gore. The apron is optional and is a typical 1940's pinefore style apron. This design was originally meant for home/housework BUT it is so fab it definitely should be not just for housework...this dress is adorable to wear anywhere! This zips on the side and is unlined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want, though plain 100% cotton or linen would be ideal for this design if you want it as a house/casual dress. If you want it only as a dress the sky is the limit for fabrics...this could be made out of fabrics like satin, rayon crepe, rayon twill, dotted swiss, seersucker. This would be fab in solids or prints.
