1940s Style Wrap Around Hostess or Day Dress with Shawl Collar Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1940

  This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1940. It is for a 'hostess' dress, or long length lounge dress that can be made very casual for lounging or made in a fancy fabric for a dinner party. It can also be made into a casual shorter day dress. It features wrap around design with shawl collar and soft gathers under the bust. The waist is nipped and the skirt is flared. Your choice of tie belt closure or buttons. Optional side pocket is very cute and has a V shaped top. The sleeves are short and very puffed with shaped cuffs. Your choice of short day dress skirt or glamour girl long skirt. This dress is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This is SO versatile depending on your vision of this I could almost use any fabric you want. Day dress version would be great in cottons, challis, lawn, rayon crepe, seersucker, gabardine, wool suiting even velvet. Lounge robe - we could do cottons, satin, or even flannel. Glamour girl hostess gown- satin.... I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you! (100% Silk , 100% wool and lame would be at an additional cost)
