1920s Style Scoop Neck Drop Gathered Waist Full Skirt Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1926

Art deco divine!

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1926. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist torso with a scoop neckline. The drop waist is gathered between the low waist and hips. The back bodice features a 'T' shaped inset with fluttery hanging straps that tie in the back. (The 'T' shape would be awesome made in a contrast color or a sheer fabric!) Your choice of short sleeves with cuff or long sleeves with bow tie cuffs. It has a flattering full circular skirt which you can choose between a straight hem or scalloped hem. This pattern is called a 'slip over frock' which means it is meant to have no openings and to be put on over your head (and wiggled into!) Most dresses of this era were baggy enough to be able to do this. Of coarse I can make this for you with the ease of a modern zipper if you prefer.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in a cool summery cottons, rayon crepe, rayon challis, satin crepe, faille, sheers like georgette and lawn. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
