Early 1920s Style Raglan Sleeve Day Dress with Jagged Skirt Detail Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1922

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates between 1922 - 1923. Can't you just see this being a dress worn by one of the lovely ladies on the set of the early seasons of Downton Abbey or Mr. Selfridge? Please pardon the pattern illustrations as I photographed my original copy and it is not in the best condition. (Though the actual pattern inside is in great condition being 100 years old!) It is for a typical early 1920's style slip over dress being loose fitting in the torso. It features yoked raglan sleeves with your choice of short sleeves or long bishop sleeves with a slit on the side. The highlight of this design is the fab jagged edge detail on the top of the skirt! Holy moly I love the jagged edge detail! This design would be great in two tone colors, don't you think? The patten calls for a sewn in elastic casing along the dropped waist. I can omit this if you prefer. It comes with a long sash belt. This dress has no closures and is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement. The early 1920's designs were typical meant to be loose fitting all through the torso with a belt to cinch in at the low waist.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in thin cottons such as lawn or voile, georgette, rayon crepe, rayon challis, pique, satin crepe, gaberdine or even lightweight wool. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
